About the Speaker: Arassari Pataxó is a distinguished leader and educator from the Barra Velha Territory in Bahia, Brazil. He advocates for Indigenous rights and environmental awareness through his project, Indigenous Day is Every Day, which promotes the deep relationship between Indigenous people and the land. With a law degree from Estácio de Sá University in Rio de Janeiro, Arassari blends leadership, advocacy, and education to protect Indigenous culture and the environment.
